Get the lenders, lawyers, agents and surveyors in. room and tell them they have 28 days to come up with a new joint memorandum of best practice that they all stick to, or the gov will legislate to alter the entire system which will mean they’ll have a huge staff retraining bill.

Again: the F-35A in the RAF will in fact not "fly further" than the F-35B. Whatever little advantage it brings in internal fuel range is completely drowned out by the RAF's inability to refuel them in flight. Unless that's cured, it just adds to E-7, P-8, Rivet Joint & C-17.
