FYI @michaelgove the @TheFCA has just written to @mtpennycook saying they will investigate the same leasehold insurance problem that the APPG @PBottomleyMP @EdwardJDavey @justinmadders reported in April 2021 The APPG has had no response from the black hole at the FCA

Misleading to say ‘no-one’ to pay more than £15k or £10k (and that’s bad enough for victims of a scandal),but it seems BTL leaseholders are being demonised and getting no protection whatsoever-anyone else concerned? Feeling rather alone in what is for us a continuing nightmare.

@justinbates28 @Leaseanddesist @michaelgove @luhc @team_greenhalgh what about forced landlords?? Can’t live in a studio/1 bed/2 bed with no outdoor space forever with kids. Isn’t it reasonable that some families have been forced to rent with ZERO govt action for over 4 years. If correct, this is shocking.

Its not like 4 million of us bought our homes on a whim without doing any checks.Our solicitors, surveyors,and valuers informed us our homes were safe to buy. We DID our due diligence. @BorisJohnson @RishiSunak must now step in where the system has failed us #BuildingSafetyCrisis
