Reading & oracy are so important in Geog. Last yr @pumpkinfaeries introduced a lesson on soils to our 1st Y7 SOL. Students read an extract from Entangled Life by @MerlinSheldrake We have since adapted reading age & added tasks to get them thinking about interdependence.
