Being late diagnosed is a torrent of working through past experiences when awake and asleep, processing a heap of bad experiences which were made worse or caused by other people. It's difficult not to feel angry sometimes.

It's been 1 year and a day since my formal autism diagnosis at age 57. What have I learned? There's a lifetime of situations and interactions with other people to unpick; there is very little support and help to find a way through it.

Fixed it for you: If you can go to normal school and more or less keep up, but are isolated, find it difficult to make and maintain friendships, struggle to understand yourself and others, and are constantly worn out by trying to fit in, then you are probably autistic.
