You are so much better off Spending 200 on GPT-5 Pro than a Claude MaX plan. Codex GPT-5 high can do everything better than Opus 4.1 can except UI. Love CC, I use it everyday, but I think $20 Codex plan caught up and it’s better now.

Taskmaster ai is my fav tool i use on cursor. Most times, i don't even know what to start with. 'Expand task' is incredibly useful, you can use even free models to get your task done. Taskmaster ai + Supabase MCP is all you need to get a working app. For UI, use Claude 4.

Claude 4 Sonnet does not need all your context, just tell it what it need to do, and he will find it. He’s the best at following instructions, it’s wild too but in a beautiful way. This hands down is the best coding model. This was the jump people were expecting from 3.5-3.7.
