Recent book haul!! All are secondhand except the last two which I ordered in May and only just now received 😅 (Also the book with no cover is Gearbreakers) So excited to read though also omg my physical tbr is the highest it's ever been

How has this been such a good & bad reading month at once?? Highest number of books read but a lot were pretty short but I've been motivated yet I've been soft blocking but I'm not a soft block person, dnf or finish so I keep trying to settle one way or another but can't AHHH

My June reading wrapup! Honestly a little disappointed, but I've been working a lot of extra shifts the past couple months so haven't had a heap of energy (also why half the books are rereads) but glad I read a couple new 4 star books! July will be June tbr again I think

My take on the audiobook discourse - I personally don't really like audiobooks much. I only really read them for non fiction books or if I'm not feeling a book but still want to finish it. In saying that though, THEY STILL COUNT AS READING. thankyou

My second DNF of the month - I really can't get into a story with an unlikeable protagonist. Patch is selfish, cringey, and just generally annoying. I found I was getting too irritated reading it, didn't find it funny and though it was entertaining at times wasn't worth finishing

Had to DNF two books off my cr, I was so close to 50% on both but it wasn't worth it anymore especially as the month is almost over and my library holds finally became available
