"How did that happen?" She stops trying to look at the device, turning to him instead.

"Wait, wait why not?" She just lets him move her, but she keeps trying to look at the portal gun.

"Whoa-!!" The unexpected turn disorients her for a second. She stares at the device she's been turned to look at. "No, I don't think I have. Is it safe?"

"Oh, really? Is she nice?" Her smile returns to her face. Typical mom friend.

"A nurse? What makes you think that?" She tilts her head at him. What /did/ she like to do? "I mean, I really like to take care of kids, does that count?"

She hums, noting how the names were unfamiliar. "Well with a name like adventure I can only imagine why no one can find him."

"Did you know them? Like, personally know them?"

She cocks a brow at him. "Lost a few? What do you mean by that?"

She remains quiet, letting him hum for a little while. "How many others are there up here?"

She cringed at the word "old". "That's a fairly smart idea actually. Are there any other ways in or is it just that one way?"

"Water?" She pondered on the question for a minute, weighing her options. "I tend to avoid it, I don't want to short out. Why?"

She clings to his side, using him as a way to help stabilize herself. "Got it." She thinks for a second. "What's she like nowadays, anyways?"

She looks to where he glanced, a little confused. She, however, complies with being quiet, walking carefully so not to trip and make noise. It takes quite a bit of her focus to do so, however.

"Sounds good to me!" She toys with the tips of the gloves, waiting for him to start walking so she can follow.

"Seriously, thank you." She releases his hand, putting the gloves on and flexing her fingers. "They fit like a...well...glove." She snickers.

She grabs one of his hands reassuringly, holding the gloves in the other. "Thank you. This really means a lot to me." Her grin never leaves her face as she takes a deep breath. "Even if they don't fit, I'll cherish them forever."

She takes them, flipping them over in her hands to really look at them. A smile grows on her face, and she looks back up at him. "These are lovely...are you sure you want me to have them?"

She lets out a soft sigh. "Yeah, it's from falling and catching my weight mostly...does more damage then you'd think I guess." She smiles, hoping he changes the subject.

She watches what he's doing for a few moments, then looks up at him. "Is...something wrong with my hands?"

She cocks a brow at him. "Why'd you do that? Did it have something bad in it, or...?"
