I received a series of rejections this week. It hurts, i won’t deny it. When I started to internalize them, I called one of my bros and he helped me remember that I’m so much more than any opportunity or accomplishment. In short it’s okay to let your folks know when youre down ❤️

PSA: if you’re using echo to test in Bash and you have an array stored in a variable, don’t forget to include the [@] at the end lest you spend 30 FULL MINUTES trying to figure out why only the first element made it into your array. 🤦‍♀️💀 #bash #scripting #fail #tgif

A (white, male) colleague at my level let me know he received a salary increase in X amount, and he encouraged me to ask for one as well. I did, was told I’d already been flagged for an increase, and my director said he was glad I spoke up. Appreciate my colleague & company! 🙌
