Newbie Developers: You don't need to buy courses to start coding. 👨💻
@codewithvoid Right, we have a lot of free courses available for free on YouTube and other resources. I usually use YT for learning basics and then once I get good hang of it I buy paid courses to dive deeper into that topic.
@codewithvoid Also one two hours of research will save you asking everyone, questions like how to start and all.
@codewithvoid I bought the flutter one on udemy for ₹299 and lemme tell you it was the best investment I have ever made. At that time flutter was so new that no one has the great resources but @yu_angela rocks. Other than that, bought nothing...
@codewithvoid Sure, there are alot of free ones, camps and communities to get started from. However, personally I'm a believer of a "course" rather than watching a crash video, cause you can easily fall into tutorial hell unless you don't have the basics-intermediate right.
@codewithvoid If you have the money please buy.. This affected me when I started JavaScript.. I was using w3school then, I totally didn't get it.. I was introduced to @jonasschmedtman JavaScript course on udemy.. it was a game changer for me..
@codewithvoid Best advice @codewithvoid totally agree!
@codewithvoid Exactly YouTube is absolutely gold mine only you have to be "Rocky bhai" to extract maximum benefits from it. Read as much blogs as you can on programming. Watch how people progressed despite coming from non IT backgrounds. Anyone can learn coding and it develops logical thinking
@codewithvoid Absolutely, YouTube has everything for free!
@codewithvoid So true. Learn from random sources, try yourself, fail, stare at your code, learn more, implement your own ways, repeat.
@codewithvoid then tell me what i need cause i really need to learn
@codewithvoid looking for inspiration for a project to build. Any idea?
@codewithvoid Agreed. The main resources for non-paid journey are drive and patience. It indeed takes more time but in the end you'll have stronger foundation than those who have everything prepared for them.
@codewithvoid True but the recent course I bought for the concrete certification it will give me. The piece of paper that I will show my potential employer? Doesn't that count no?
@codewithvoid If the one already has a detailed roadmap, then they can start with free resourses But courses usually provide clear structure
@codewithvoid For web development youtube is enough✅️ Here are my recommendations 🔘 Traversy media 🔘 Javascript mastery 🔘 Codewithharry (Hindi lang) 🔘 Thapa technical (Hindi lang) 🔘 Fireship
@codewithvoid You don’t need to but I consider them to be a good investment. Everything you need to know is out there somewhere for free on the internet. The hard part is staying on the right track. There is so much information out there that it can be extremely overwhelming.
@codewithvoid Start with YouTube -Freecodecamp -Kunal Kushwaha You can also use website like codedamn which is great for practice.
@codewithvoid I buy courses which I can afford just to get a structured and ad free learning.
@codewithvoid On the other hand, courses that you pay for have reviews so you know you can find a good one as the professors usually strive for good reviews. And if you pay for it, it gives you a reason to see it through.
@codewithvoid I'm not against buying a course if you have the resources to get it. And another reason to buy a course is that they follow structured curriculum that will make your learning faster n easier. Anyways, you can go to: aptlearn.io to learn for free if you are a newbie
