@codewithvoid Sometimes you need just stop with projects and learn something new outside your circle
@codewithvoid Taking courses is good, but building stuff is better.
@codewithvoid First do a course then do a project. Its stupid to just jump in without knowing anything and try to just build stuff. Foundation is necessary
@codewithvoid Sure. Working on projects enhances your skills better than just taking the course.
@codewithvoid I was on a space in July and this was my exact point. I said the same thing at an in person talk in August. Tbh, I wish folks could see how practices and examples are projects in themselves. Give your best to it and work on it as though you're already at your choice company.
@codewithvoid I have more stars on github than I have, uhh, yachts?
@codewithvoid Most of the people skip it cuz it's a time taking process and they want to learn more in less time.
@codewithvoid Correction: Projects that solve real world problems! Projects like Twitter clone, LinkedIn clone, Instagram clone will only teach you how to code, not how to solve problems 😅
@codewithvoid Courses are good for learning the basics, but you’ve got to put that knowledge to use. Even if you're feeling confident from the course, the real deal is actually building something
@codewithvoid Absolutely, I learn more making my own projects instead of watching courses ._.
