The idea was to basically use hilite.me. Problem: the <pre> tags weren't being honored after being retrieved from Firebase. So given the html, I run my script, then put it in my store. Check out how it looks here: petecrist.me/post/hackerrank

Had an issue reserving <pre> tag whitespace when displaying code stored in #Firebase. Just created a little script on my personal site to replace newlines with <br/> and tabs with 4 whitespaces. Plopping that into firebase and looks great!

After being neglectful for about a year, I came back to my personal portfolio site and everything was still just as easy to update. Using #React, react-bootstrap to deploy using #Firebase which also hosts my (small amount) of blog posts. It was honestly a joy, not a headache.
