What is your favorite adventure? (If you post a system you will be blocked this isn’t a joke I’m not doing a bit I’m trying to improve the conversation in hell for entertainment)
@coilingoracle I really like Ypsilon-14. It’s minimal, but I don’t need to remember too much to run a oneshot at a moment’s notice and it has a clear map and toys for the players.
@coilingoracle I really like Terror in Talebheim.
@coilingoracle DCO probably, but I have really enjoyed playing Thulian Echoes
@coilingoracle I think about Catlands too often to be healthy... it might be more of a setting, though, so I'll mention the hotel in the base troika book. :]
@coilingoracle I got to play Fane of the Heresiarch at a convention a long while back, and it really stuck in my brain. Haven't gotten to experience anything like it since then... drivethrurpg.com/m/product/2000…
@coilingoracle Minimalism by Throne of Salt
@coilingoracle I'm on a classic fantasy kick right now, so I'm absolutely adoring the Lankhmar adventures for Dungeon Crawl Classics. 'Gang Lords of Lankhmar' by Harley Stroh is a fantastic gang war story in a fantasy city where the PCs can rise and backstab, but it's hard to come out on top
@coilingoracle tomb of the serpent kings genuinely delivers on multiple fronts 1. As an introductory Actual dungeon crawl to players 2. Introduction to the GM on *designing* one due to copious notes 3. easy to run *and* modify 4. easily slotted into most fantasy campaigns 5. FUN
@coilingoracle DCO. Though I will say I haven't gotten to run Thracia or ASE and I think if they deliver on my expectations they could be my faves.
@coilingoracle I need to read more adventures, and I'm not sure if I have a def favorite, but I loved Gradient Decsent. One of the few adventures that really creeped me out.
@coilingoracle Silent Titans, people who complain about the layout and maps should be ashamed of their words and deeds
@coilingoracle blood and dust spire is FANTASTIC, for a system agnostic adventure, The Darkest house
