At first I was like 😮 this can't be real! But then I was like sure it can, examples like this popup everyday by teams who just focus on shipping & don't talk to their users... Yes its hard to make time/get budget for but even the smallest of touch points can make a difference🧟‍♂️

A classic case of "faster horse". It's amazing to me that Walmart doesn't know that people often find the "weekly shop" unpleasant, being largely a result of car-dependent cultures. We lost the personal touch with supermarkets, maybe look to online possibilities to restore it?

1. One of my big memories from design school was when the prof (Dan Boyarski) told us to start our big project not by sketching or brainstorming. Instead he told us to leave the studio and GO WATCH PEOPLE. Watch ppl do whatever it was our design was supposed to make better.
