A CWT(A) Airman wearing a new beret crest graduates from Pathfinder. He wears Army's black thread qualification badges on his field shirt. Because of their close ties with Army units, some TACPs and SWOs wear Army's black thread badges. 93 AGOW's BDG Airmen would do the same.

Very rare historical footage. In the early 1980s, SOWT Airmen stationed at Bad Tölz Army Airfield in West Germany wore a special version of the 10th SFG(A) beret flash on their blue berets. youtube.com/watch?v=5wpljC…
