@latkedelrey I don’t know what your experience was, but all evidence we have suggests that therapy doesn’t “work” for abusers. They will become more emotionally well-adjusted, but they will not stop being abusive. Abusers need specialized programs, and even then, many abusers do not change

sorry, not sorry, not going to care about labubus because I grew up with an alcoholic, psychologically abusive father in constant state of distress, anxiety and worry about the future. hearing the key in the door every evening was my own ‘labubu' for almost 20 years

I love the rationalists but I do think long term exposure to the community has resulted in me losing a lot of agency in my thinking. I used to be super philosophical and exploratory but fear of looking stupid has pinched off many of my thoughts at the roots
