Two years ago I raised a bug on #Firefox around use of #HTML input type="date". When calendar is open the font size won't change if user zooms or does text resize. So #accessibility is difficult for those with poor vision. How can we get this progressed? bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?i…

I run web #accessibility training courses for devs and often demo things with #NVDA screen reader. In the latest version Speech Viewer has become very patchy and often stops working. Have other #a11y people experienced this, or is it just me? /cc @NVAccess

Hi @yoast. I'm going to use the <details> and <summary> elements in a page - it's the native HTML accordion. But I'm wondering if the content in the <details> section that would not initially be visible on the page actually gets noticed and indexed by search engines? Do you know?

#Accessibility and #Search: I've seen a couple of sites where the Search text box doesn't have a button next to it. Devs know that you can submit a form by pressing Enter when in a text box, but does everyone know that? Makes it tricky for speech recognition AT as well?

Hi @dequesystems. When using the excellent aXe browser extension to test pages for #accessibility the results indicate that it's checking to AAA within WCAG2.1. A question from a client is 'Can I change it to just check for AA?'. Is that possible? Thanks

Why is the trend of autoplaying video and audio on site load still a thing?!?! My goodness. It is absolutely a distraction for ALL users when audio/video starts playing, and you don't even know from where! #A11y #Inclusion #webdevelopment
