Why does the ChatGPT native desktop app lag so far behind the web version in terms of features and UI? I use the native about 10x more than web bc of hotkeys and ease. It's a real pain to need to go to the web app for certain functionality, tho @sama @ChatGPTapp @OpenAIDevs

Huh. Looks like Plato was right. A new paper shows all language models converge on the same "universal geometry" of meaning. Researchers can translate between ANY model's embeddings without seeing the original text. Implications for philosophy and vector databases alike.

A better approach is “constraint-based geolocation.” Trusted servers (“landmarks”) send pings over the internet to the GPU, and use the round-trip time to calculate itslocation. The more landmarks you have / the closer the landmarks are to the GPU, the better your accuracy.
