Also feeling much more chilled about the Chilean now. I think it was the shock due to the way he came across. A great example of why fabs should never run clubs as, whilst many of us may have the skills, we often lack the objectivity.

After the Wolfsburg rejection and being made captain, I felt pretty confident Sarge was going nowhere, but with the Isak/Wissa saga and others you never really know. Let's hope he stays fit as he is undoubtedly the best no.9 in the league.

The thing about Nunez is it's actually quite believable he thinks Ipswich are in the EPL, he appears that dense, which may also be why he's doing that unhinged crazy laugh all the time too. Surely not though 🤣

Both goals today from long balls and nod ons. Very direct. Our struggles creatively are through the middle. Very focused down both wings and inside channels. Interesting.

I will say this about Knapper, you may not always agree with him, but he has shown a very decisive side over the last 18 months where he's willing to make difficult decisions that he feels are right for the club. In truth none of us have enough info to really know full details.

Despite the dodgy second half today there were a lot of positives. Kvisty looks like he'll come good, Darling solid and Vlad (one dodgy pass aside), to name a few. Let's see where we are after ten games. New players, new manager, etc. takes time.

Fair play and can't disagree with any of that. Result great, first half decent, second half (a bit of a common theme) not so good. Definitely better off only having players that want to be here. Vlad huge today and v Pompey.

Very similar feeling to the Pompey away game where we got away with a very sloppy second half. Pen was outside the box. Looked bereft of ideas once MK went off, but I'll take it.

Not sure a player who played 39, 40 and then 35 games (league and cup) can really be considered injury prone. Just saying. Does feel he may have a hamstring issue though. Time will tell. He also never got the goals and assists his skills would suggest he should.
