Eiders building in number now, providing plenty of entertainment in the harbour. We've counted up to 75 gathering in recent days - quite a sight (and sound) when they're all in a frisky mood! Also a close view of one swallowing a crab, after first dealing with all the legs

This Raven has been a familiar sight around the harbour since September - it bounces around with a droopy wing but it is still able to fly. Having already endured a few storms this winter, hopefully it knows where to tuck itself away for the bad conditions ahead
