best method right now to scale apps is to look at apps doing well with a hard paywall in english, then imitate that strategy in spanish/german/similar and run ads + organic to it

it's a bad idea to pay for youtube premium if you are in marketing. Companies paying for ytb ads are the biggest spenders. You get to directly see what is working in the market right now.
advice for indie hackers: Don't learn marketing from other indie hackers or SaaS guys. Learn marketing from ecom guys, they usually have bad products so their marketing has got to be on point.
SaaS guys: Learn from drop shippers they don't spend months (or years) building their product. They spend a weekend on their stores then start running ads and continue or cut accordingly. If you take this approach with software, you will be well served.
