This is your reminder that a UBI is a right wing policy, it promotes small government because it massively reduces administration costs especially when paired with a flat tax rate and it removes the disincentivise to work, because you don't lose it when you start earning.

I see a lot of people assuming Elon's new party will steal votes from the right, but I'm not sure that's the case, he is pitching it as a central party not a right wing party, and some of his policies are left code, like solar, batteries and electric vehicles.
