I was on an amazing bike ride with Becky in Seal Bay Nature Park when I heard of the death of the Queen. I’ve always been so impressed and thankful for her endless service, example, and faith. I will miss her smile. May God bless her, and thank you.

Of course "it's complicated", but I'd much rather governments were like this & left it up to individual families to decide what content they want to block at router. Hard to complain when Russia blocks BBC when EU/UK blocks RT; this just leads to a downward spiral & echo chamber

While the initial sanctions are a good start, there is much more we can, and must do, to help - even if indirectly - Ukraine during this time 🙏 This would be a good option given how sheltered Russian news is: would get through to some Russians at least theglobeandmail.com/opinion/articl…

Been praying for Ukraine for the last several days, and especially today given how things are worsening. It's especially real because one of our developers lives in Kharkiv, just 25km from the Russian border. Praying for him, his family and colleagues in particular.

I learnt a lot in this thread. My ignorance in general is pretty high, but with the variety of different effects of COVID (many mild in my demographic, and more than a few not) it was particularly high. Worth a read if similarly ignorant or curious.
