A great thing about #Bitcoin Twitter right now, is only the real ones are left. Goodbye #Bitcoin tourists. But there is still much pain before we get rid of the real ones and have just the #Bitcoin purists. Remember, it went from $32 to $2; so $69k to $4k would be a great purge.

This is why we need to fight to retain physical cash. If the only means of exchange can be restricted or censored, then people can be denied the means to live. And I'm sorry, crypto people, but as it stands crypto isn't a viable alternative to physical cash.

@smdiehl Bitcoin is barely usable for payments *and* it's not generating value for society in any way either. I can't pay my mortgage with it or buy my groceries. And any returns on it are clearly zero-sum. Money one person gets is money another person loses. </preaching to the choir>

What hyperbole. Crypto is just another iteration in an attempt to digitise and control payment. It’s certainly not the first, nor the most important. Bitfinex and tether are just a byline. Get a grip
