Picture taken near Bathinda from the air, as you can see there’s a bumper rice crop coming in the Malwa which has been saved from the #PunjabFloods2025 our brethren in Majha and Doaba unfortunately have really borne the brunt of what has been a bad man made mess up by our State & Central Governments that were asleep at the wheel before the Monsoon months started and the snow melt started up in Himachal. The standard SOP was not followed in releasing water March/April onwards from our dams and when the monsoon came and the reservoirs were above danger level they released too much water too quick!
