Couldn’t agree more @paulcullystuff , it’s the most subjective and unsafe part of the modern game. I played under some law variations in the NPC 2016 which I thought got the balance a lot better

Mixed emotions on this one 🤔 Good for overall competitiveness but personally I’d like to see a longer stand down period and a cap on the number of tests played for the first country.

Have the top 8 nations ever been this close? 3 or 4 behind them not far off either. Game is healthy overall just need to get the officiating consistent and refs less influential on results

Expand the RC ASAP. Maybe two tiers held concurrently with promo/relegation. Enforcing Reg9 for full strength squads is crucial. Inevitable that SA will leave eventually, north/south calendar unsustainable for them

I’m not a fan of rugby players swapping countries league style BUT surely a fair and common sense approach would be a stand down period that is the same length as the residency period

In an alternate rugby universe the reds don’t tap and go but keep opting for scrums and eventually win the game by penalty try against 12 players...geez I’m glad that didn’t happen but at one point I genuinely feared it might!

Honestly, I’m just finding it refreshing that for once Rugby Union isn’t the sport currently causing outrage by alienating fans and chasing short-term money over the long-term good of the game.

Anyone in my rugby network got suggestions of where I might be able to offload some old kit? Preferably a charity/community that would really make use of it it
