I have little trust in news from PBS, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, FOX and most other mainstream media outlets because they have become shapers of opinion rather than reporters of news. And guess whose opinion and agenda they are promoting — their own.

I’ve noticed this in older people, and I am starting to notice it in myself: thinking they have earned the right to give opinions in ways and settings that lack character and christlikeness. We never earn the right to say things that are antithetical to the nature of Christ.

I never cease to be amazed of the hubris of those who vehemently belittle the work of the leaders who actually built the foundation and platforms they stand upon.
