Since last week when Sarah Everard first went missing, six women & a little girl have been have been reported as being killed at the hands of men - in the UK. Let that sink in, to highlight the gross inequalities that endure and the harsh reality that, it all starts in the home.

As many of you will know I am a survivor - so far at least - of colon cancer. When diagnosed 3 years ago it had spread copiously to my liver, though thankfully not to my lungs, which is common.
