It’s kind of unfortunate for Skubal that the MVP race is pretty much locked up between Judge and Raleigh. Barring a really bad September, his numbers at season end sure look like they could be MVP worthy if there weren’t historic offensive seasons happening.

Trei Cruz deserves a shot at the big league level. He has been tearing up the minor leagues this year between both AA and AAA, posting an OBP above .400 in both levels. He’s a 27 year old switch hitter that can play a variety of positions. Fits the team’s identity perfectly.

Low key… Kind of wonder what Fetter could do if you tried to convert Buehler to the bullpen. He’s been awful for a minute as a starter but maybe there’s something there as a reliever with the right tweaks. Maybe not, just speculating
