We recently generated research reports for companies using GPT-4o-mini vs GPT-4o: While GPT-4o-mini worked well for simpler tasks, generating a fully structured, multi-section research report with contextual insights and financial reasoning required more power and reliability. We upgraded to GPT-4o to ensure more accurate narrative generation, better formatting consistency, and fewer hallucinations.Also because the amount of data was a lot and 4o-mini wasn’t performing very efficient with it.
