Been home for two days now from the hospital. Heather is still sore. Jacob is sleeping right now.

The internet at the hospital is still down. I'm at home right now picking some things up. Pictures are at photobucket.com/jacob_long

sorry for not posting earlier, internet was down here. Jacob is here, c-section, 4:15PM 7/30/09, 6lbs15oz, 19" long

10cm finally. Pushing is gonna start at 1:30.

She's now 9cm but has a bad pain in her hip that is causing her to feel like she can't take anymore. I don't think she has a choice.

Dr. just came in and she's still at 8cm. They are going to start giving her a high dose of Pitocin.

8cm an hour ago. Dr. is coming in to see if she is close to pushing time. Baby has a conehead from the long labor.

Power has gone out twice at the hospital. Dilation is still slow moving. Looks like Jacob won't be here until daylight.

At 6cm now, but dialation is going slowly. Pitocin is going to be increased. Baby is at 0 station.

Just woke up and Heather was checked out about two hours ago at 5 cm. She's back on pitocin now. Should be checked again soon.

Heather and I are going to try to take a short nap. She's going to get checked again soon...here's hoping for 5 or 6 cm.

Dr broke Heather's water and she is currently 4 cm dialated. In the next 6-10 hours we should have a baby!

Dr. is on his way. Baby's heartbeat is going down during contractions..not good. Pitocin has been turned off for now.

Doctor is going to break Heather's water when he gets here, but I don't know when that will be.

Pitocin is starting to work now. Epidural is on the way. When contractions are 2 minutes apart they will check dialation.

Dr. Office just called and we're going to get induced at the hospital right now.

Called the Dr. Heather is in a lot of pain. Waiting for Dr. Office to call back.

Went back to hospital and was sent home again. Contractions are 4 minutes apart, but still only 1cm dialated. 100% effaced. Took Ambien.

Walked for awhile and just timed contractions again. We're at 5 minutes 30 seconds apart. Still just early labor pains....no active labor

Timing contractions right now, but they don't look like they are close enough yet. 7 minutes apart right now. Will check again around 4
