When your server provider goes down and your DB does too… all your events are gone. Lesson learned: decouple your services. Add a buffer like Kafka, so your data survives even when your infra doesn’t—so you can sleep peacefully at night.
Got 21 applications for a frontend role. Shortlisted 2—both in 1st & 3rd year. Rejected the rest: 4th years listing only “HTML & CSS”. Back in my 1st year, I was still figuring out how to center a div… these kids are out here shipping products.
