If anyone was wondering why we chose to host our 'Pride Day' on Tuesday the 28th of june. It is important that we not only celebrate diversity and strive for inclusion, but also educate the next generation on the history of their community and the people who paved the way.

So many of our young people attended @PrideEdinburgh and were inspired by the sense of community! So they decided that the only way to end the Pride Day at @dgs_tlc was, of course, to hold a Pride March round the school grounds after school. A fantastic end to #pridemonth

An extra special part of todays Pupil Pride Day was the #pridepicnic! Members of the LGBT+ Allies group had a chance to be together and celebrate the hard work they have put into the @lgbtys Silver Chartership Journey this year! And of course there was lots of cake 🏳️‍🌈 🍰 🏳️‍⚧️
