I'm sorry to report we had to say goodbye to Carla today. She's been having a rough time, especially the past few days. Thanks to all of you who loved her (and for the toys and treats). I held her while she fell asleep on my shoulder. She was the best girl and we'll miss her.

This made us cry. Pics from 2020 when Theresa took Henry to the animal rescue where they adopted Lucy. Henry had lost Lucy 1 months earlier and was so sad. So Lucy 2 stepped up and loved him madly. And now we have to step up. Because we all matter or none of us do.

@Faithfulone77 @doclisaj @MatthewBowdish Totally. That’s the most frustrating part of all of this - that it’s made to feel like it’s the only way to provide care. Meanwhile, insurance often costs an arm and a leg, so it’s not doing anyone a favor. Nothing’s free.
@doclisaj @DrCorriel @MatthewBowdish That's a valid concern. Many can't afford DPC/concierge, or its not available near them. CHC's are wonderful! But if they're using corporate run insurance, it's a mess. Managed Care has destroyed physician-pt relationships. How to change the system is the ?

@DHidlayVIR Everybody will assume it's from their specialty's organs ;) So for me I'd immediately think large ovarian cyst, maybe mucinous, that was benign on frozen but malignant on permanents (I've had 2 of those in the past couple months), OR a leio that ended up being LMS
