Following the news of the Southport incident as a mother of young girls and paediatrician is harrowing. I know the girls will have the NHS’s finest working to save them, thoughts with all and hoping that psychological support is available for the brave staff looking after them ❤️

Do HCPs understand that not using a patient’s unique identifiers alone doesn’t automatically make something OK to post online? Some stories are so unique they should never be posted, and if a patient or their family could identify them from the story, that isn’t okay to share

I can’t say how furious I am. occupational health in our deanery is reached through HR referral, that step makes it feel disciplinary. our GPs are already overstretched and there’s unique needs for medical professionals seeking mental health support that PHP just “get”
