Had a look at team level kick metre stats, after Jamal Fogarty kicked for ~800m, to see how much of an outlier that was (average is about 560m per team/game). Also added in teams kick return metres per game. Turns out kicking far and returning the ball well might make you good.

I was having a look at Seb Kris and how little he is involved in the Raiders attack last night. The below chart shows he is an outlier in terms of how few touches he gets and he does not pass much when he does get touches.

The Dolphins are stacked at Centre (pick 2 of Brenko Lee, Lemuelu, Aitken, Tabuai-Fidow, Gildart, Niu, Te Whare). Valynce Te Whare would be the most fun option out of those by far. Doesn't seem to pass much, but you can see why.

I'm assuming Paul Alamoti will get a run at Centre in the NRL with the Bulldogs this season, maybe as first choice. His attacking numbers are absolutely ridiculous. A bit to work on with defence and discipline, but worth a shot. Still only 18.

Another Bulldogs recruit, Jacob Preston played for the Bears in NSW Cup last season at age 21. Not a massive work rate in terms of tackles and runs, but fantastic attacking numbers creating line breaks and tries. Good discipline and tackle efficiency too.

Hoping Franklin Pele gets some more match time with the Bulldogs. Should at least be an impact bench prop with some improvement in discipline and defensive workrate. Per minute attack numbers and tackle effectiveness are really good in 38-ish minutes a game.
