So is #windows10 2004 going to be released as an enablement package or are we going to have to push an update that requires 3 hours of install time and a reboot that lasts 2.5 hours before a user can get back to work? Asking for 3k people who use Windows in my Org. #ConfigMgr
According to this article support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/447… it may be caused by someone using older boot media to image. Recommends blocking old boot media certs in the console. Could be what happened here, Desktop Tech may not have updated their boot stick.

Since upgrading to #configmgr 1909 TS deployments to All Unknown Computers no longer work, Unknown computers get the TS if its deployed to All Workstations, even though they are not in that collection. They show up as Unknown device with MAC address in properties. Anyone else?

Before i spend time testing, does anyone know if a user defers installation outside business hours, does #Configmgr set a timer to wake computer from sleep to install? Or is it just useless because the computer will be asleep? #MEMCM
I take it all back. It did work without a user going to software center, just took a bit on my first test machine. I'm super excited again! #configmgr #SCCM
Right, I havent seen this particular case either. Driver issues have been rare. Did see case where Firmware need to be updated otherwise Nvidia Quadro driver crashed Precision 3420. Dell released video driver to their catalog but didn't release firmware update till a month later.

My takeaway from @mikael_nystrom driver presentation at #MMSMOA was that a device in Dell/HP etc may not be the same as off the shelf device b/c purchased without a feature to save $$, and you dont know what will happen if you install the vendor driver that enables that feature.

It´s easy to incorporate my #PowerShell #Office update script into a existing TS! Copy updates and script to a content share, create a package without a program, add a command line step to the TS and configure it like in the picture 😉 - bit.ly/2Wh558c #SCCM #ConfigMgr
