Was happy to see this patient in Kolkata who cameto see me today along with his brother. They had come to Bangalore as he had severe renal failure. Was dialysis dependent. Had a kidney biopsy which showed minimal change like disease, was treated with steroids

Came to see me today in Kolkata - had a second kidney transplant almost 1&1/2 yrs ago maternal aunt - chikkamma was the donor. Doing well by Gods grace 🙏🏻🙏🏻happy to see him. Very meticulous with his medication and follows up closely, which is important for all kidney transplants

While @drvishwanaths showed Manipal Hospital data on approx 33% live donors with DM or IGT, he showed this particular slide of a cadaver kidney from a diabetic where in @MVankalakunti received the specimen at 11.45 pm and reported it in 15 minutes. Beat that! Handwriting 😍
