Thanks to everyone who was able to make it to this action and stand up against LNG. But the fight continues! This meeting approved a public notice to grant Texas LNG a tax abatement. This will be voted on in 30 days! We can't let this vote pass!

Local organizations in the Rio Grande Valley gathered in Brownsville this afternoon to protest Gov. Abbott’s migrant bill signing take place about a mile away. One of them dressed as Santa and carried a sign announcing Abbott was on the naughty list.

If you've ever enjoyed fishing, hiking, sight seeing, etc at South Bay or Boca Chica, now is the time to speak up!! You can submit a public comment (especially before Oct. 28th) and request a public meeting and show TCEQ that we want to protect this space!

TCEQ plans to permit Spacex to dump treated wastewater into South Bay, near Boca Chica. Despite the wastewater being treated, dumping fresh water could change yhe salinity of the saltwater marshes and damage wildlife habitats!
