I don’t read 3 books per day. I’m not a morning person. I’m disorganised. I get overwhelmed. I can’t stick with good habits. I make plenty of mistakes. This is my reality of being a successful CEO. Not the 4am wheatgrass fuelled magic-routine you’re being sold constantly.

Looking back, after recording 100+ podcasts and now hitting 130k downloads a month, I’ve come to a realization. Many of my hobbies have turned into serious businesses. Graphic design. Teaching. Videos. Maybe you’re sitting on a hobby waiting to be turned into a business?

Behind every 'simple logo' is hours of research, discussions, iterations, refinement and experience. Just because a logo or design looks simple, doesn't that person or team didn't put in the work to get to that solution.

I’ve lost loads of jobs recently based on price. I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t frustrate me. But I personally believe I’m worth what I charge. Stand your ground, if you’re passionate about what you do and are good at it you deserve to be paid well for that service.
