This is huge. @boomaero & @HadrianInc are both hiring talent that can be molded into what they need. Resume:person model just doesn't work for a new age of tech/mfg. This is the way. 21st c mfg angle: skills provided are transferrable more than ever before.

I was just thinking similarly about the industrial base race. Very a la short reels/films in 1930s-40s re: WW2. These reels, often news, educated Americans on what was going on. Propaganda? Sure. Did it help bolster public support for eventual victory? Yes.

Also, for start ups, non technical folks who are like minded & generally skilled are worthy hires. Start ups obvi prioritize tech/sales but don't sleep on networking the rest, building a list, and using contract hours until you can expand. Lots of good people support the cause!

Consultant friend working these issues recently said the big chip players who've made investment announcements in the last 6-9 mo are slow rolling action & implementation expecting political winds to change. This needs a decades long view & commitment. Not 4 yr cycles.
