Pre-season duck banding is my absolute favourite time of year 🦆 This data is used to determine sustainable harvest rates, as well as to better understand the distribution and dynamics of North America’s duck populations.

The road is alive with amphibians beginning their annual journey to find their mate. I had the opportunity to volunteer with Coastal Partners in Conservation to collect migration data on Western Toads while helping some others safely cross the road along the way. I’m hooked!

The Liberals at committee tried to shut down discussion on coronavirus and First Nations. The govt doesn't get it. They advise regular hand washing which is impossible for communities without running water.
