I was ugly crying in the hallway this morning. I had this student as a senior my first year at Plano 4 years ago & met with her every day outside class to help her pass so she could walk the stage. She is now studying to be a nurse! So proud and happy for her! 💜💜

Some students/adults think they are not math people. They are. We all are. Their abilities are hidden/wrapped up with bad math experiences. Good teachers know this and take time to help carefully unwrap their math abilities so they can access/recognize their own math potential.

2018…More teachers resigned than any other year prior 2019…A new record # of resignations 2020…That # SURPASSED. 2021…AGAIN 2022…AGAIN 2023…And AGAIN 2024…Broke ALL previous records The career is simply no longer sustainable and nothing is being done about it…quite sad.
