#GBNews have just published their accounts up to May 2023. Headlines: losses £42m (up from £31m). Wages £21m (from £13m). Total revenue £7m (up from £4m). Advertising revenue £4m (up from £3m). Nowhere near breaking even - is it really a business aimed at making money?

GB News ltd are overdue filing their accounts. They lost nearly £37m in their last published accounts, so these are likely to be significantly worse. It will be interesting to see how the 'going concern' requirement is met

The #Chelsea news re UEFA is not good news for #ManCity. A fine from the PL seems likely. But CFC self-reported and will have co-operated. But City hid deception and are charged with failing to co-operate with investigation. Something more than a fine seems entirely possible

Anyone wondering why the @ManCity case has dragged on might want to consider the Statute of Limitations for Tort (I.e. being able to sue the club for impact of rulebreaking). It's 6 years in the UK...

The @ManCity news. One big thing is failure to act in Utmost Good Faith. Blades sued @WestHam when they admitted not acting in UGF re Tevezgate. Used Tort laws to claim £20m damages for relegation

An interesting aspect of the Mykhailo Mudryk deal to #Chelsea (other than the £62m fee [plus add ons]) is the 7.5year contact! That's a commitment to pay over in £50m wages for a still-developing player.
