@edutopia @AdamMGrant I was seen as intelligent, but did very averagely at school. Turns out I had a poor memory due to undiagnosed epilepsy, but was very good at critical thinking and analysis. I didn't get into university at 18, but got in years later and did very well. Ended up training teachers.
