In the Legend of Zelda movie that'll be made in a few years, give Link a sister (Aryll) that's a mute, and have Link know sign language because that's he communicate with his sister. That's a plausible reason as to why he doesn't talk much in the story of the movie.

If they're gonna make a Zelda movie, cast Zelda Williams as a voice actor on it. She doesn't have to voice Zelda since her voice leans more into the villainous-side. Maybe a Gerudo.
