During the 2022 presidential elections, all of my accounts (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) were blocked by court order and to this day my lawyers have not had access to the process. At the time I had just been elected the most voted deputy in Brazil and my networks had high engagement. Right at that moment, I was left without social media. There were protests in NY and people carried posters showing what was happening in Brazil. Just like me, several journalists, influencers and even politicians in Brazil have suffered censorship and fines - even on larger and worse scales than my situation. I hope @elonmusk has started something historic: the resumption of freedom in our country.

@elonmusk just to be clear though, free speech does not involve or cover threats, inciting violence, defamation, slander, libel, discrimination, racism, sexism, or other criminal activities that Donald tRump, Republicans, and Elon Musk does. That is not free speech.
