When somebody says “VL is cheating”

@embasic So after some career changes it had been 2 years since I intubated. Decided to go VL to jump back on the horse. 3 seconds. I may not go back.

@embasic I own my VL model INTUBASCOPE and I use it daily. This same people making childish comments would not dare to say a thing. Recently I had to do a cricothyroidotomy to save a patient after failed attempts with 3 different blades used. Pt has airway obstruction with 5cm tumor

@embasic First look, best look! Use whatever techniques you are most familiar with to the best of your ability for the maximum benefit of the patient

@embasic So true like air medical night vision goggles are cheating, and antilock breaks are cheating, and smoke detectors are cheating. Using modern technology is stupid when we can do things the older more dangerous way. Its not like what are talking about can kill people.

@embasic My standard response to that is, "Who are we cheating? Death?"
