Did you know that a scientist at the center of the lab leak theory is connected to Fauci’s inner circle? We’re publishing new emails of David Morens, an aide to Fauci for decades. Morens was also a mentor and drinking buddy of EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak, whose collaboration with the Wuhan Institute of Virology is at the center of concerns about a lab leak in Wuhan. Daszak’s NIH grant was suspended in 2020 and he was asked to get data from the Wuhan lab. Morens brags in a new email that they helped get EcoHealth more money than was lost. “Lots of folks outside nih are working on it.” This could refer to private donations or to money from the Pentagon. The NIH grant was suspended in the spring. That summer, $18 million flowed from the Pentagon to EcoHeath. We never got the data from Wuhan. EcoHealth Alliance is still receiving federal money. usrtk.org/wp-content/upl…
“Tony knows about your work.” Morens alerted Fauci to the fact that NIAID funded coronavirus research in Wuhan via Daszak (as did others). Morens did this knowing some could draw “really dark” connections between Daszak’s research and the pandemic. Since that time, NIH has been secretive: - Morens reported that “Tony doesn't want his fingerprints on origin stories.” - Morens used Gmail to try to evade FOIA requests. - When called to testify before an investigative committee, HHS initially forbid him from answering COVID origins questions. ecohealthalliance.org/wp-content/upl…
@emilyakopp Oh, look, Jon Cohen is in there, too! "Jon, Joel Breman.. called me today to ask me to bring to your attention the two publications.. which defend the work of Peter and Chinese colleagues" "Yes, I read. Many thanks to all of you."
@emilyakopp But didn't Morens use his gmail for a lot of his correspondences? 🤔
@emilyakopp Here. Catch up: x.com/wesfree/status…
@emilyakopp And now you know why no one mentions the September 16th Biolab explosion at the 2nd largest bsl-4 biolab in the world. This "look here not there" tatic is f*cking old.
