The NO Cookers: “you’re inserting race! You’ll divide us.” 70 constitutional lawyers & many smart folks: “race already exists in the constitution, to enforce the white australia policy.” Cookers: 🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗 If you don’t know, don’t stress find out vote yes! #Yes23
Section 51 applies to all Australians equally. It’s doesn’t specify a race. It used to have an exclusion for the “aboriginal race”. Then, in 1967, we removed it. Now the Yes camp want to reinsert an race-based right for the “aboriginal race”. Using an “appeal to authority” from 70 Yes advocates doesn’t make your argument sound. It’s still just as easy to to pull apart, because they’re being deceptive. This referendum is absolutely about race; indeed, it is defined by race. BTW, do you really need to insult people to make your point? It’s not a winning strategy.
@emma_husar One more time for “I always say yes to further my career Emma” …. The existing clause it is not specific to any one race …this referendum is to specifically give advantage to one race irrespective how rich they are.
@emma_husar I take it you've seen the latest Poll which shows the Yes support still slumping. The Voice divides Australia by Race and allocates Rights based on Race. This is the Definition of Racism. The PM did not label this as a 'conspiracy theory' because it is blatantly true.
@emma_husar If we are having a referendum at the cost $400 odd million dollars should be to remove the remaining bits of race in the constitution not add more.
@emma_husar Perhaps the referendum should be about removing the race power in s51(xxvi) from the constitution. I reckon this would be something all Australians (other than those who think we should be able to legislate on race) could get behind. Anyone against could fairly be called racist.
@emma_husar @colleenmmck618 No is a failure YES is positive
@emma_husar Why do you insult indigenous No voters Emma. You disrespectful white supremacist p🐽#G
