The ‘storm is coming’ is shorthand for something really dark that D. Trump was not saying out loud based on QANON slogans. This is a way for him to point to violence if indicted without explicitly calling for it. He is the prince of plausible deniability if someone ask questions

Trump entered his presidency in 2016 with a sense of combative enjoyment. Now this morning, after hanging up on NPR, it seems, he’s lost his sense of joy in the fight. His voice is tired, demoralized, unsure. He’s pushing a conspiracy that reasonable GOP voters find distasteful.

During his speech to the GOP Political Action Conference in Texas, over the weekend, Trump let loose with this line explaining his strategy on polling: "If it's bad, I say it's fake. If it's good, I say that's the most accurate poll ever." So he has just confirmed the BIG LIE.
